Park and preserve	Dawn to dusk, daily
Nature center	Mon.–Sat. 9 a.m.–5 p.m.; Sun. 1–5 p.m.

The nature center may close for holidays and special events; call ahead if you're planning around a program.

Location & parking

Address: 2900 Rocky River Road, Charlotte, NC 28215
Directions: From I-85, take exit 45A onto NC-24 E/W.T. Harris Blvd. for about 3.5 miles, turn left onto Rocky River Road, then after half a mile turn left onto Rocky River Road/Grier Road; the park entrance is on the right.
Where it is: Northeast Charlotte, near the University City area
